Opening of New Addition Marks Halfway Point

Jennersville Regional Hospital officials invited the community to share in a day-long celebration last fall as CEO Chuck Davis and distinguished guests unveiled the new addition to the public. The event marked the halfway point of the multi-million dollar expansion and renovation project that began in the fall of 2010.

The new addition features a 20-bed unit with all private rooms, named Telemetry East. It also houses the new main lobby, Patient Registration Department, Gift Shop which is operated by Philips Florist of Oxford, and the Outpatient Laboratory.

Renovations to portions of the existing facilities will continue through fall of 2012 with the purpose of converting all semi-private patient rooms to single-patient rooms. By the completion of the project, the Hospital will offer all private room accommodations.
