As we age, concerns about memory loss or developing Alzheimer’s disease can be upsetting. What’s often unknown is the fact that there are steps you can take to eliminate some risks and increase your mental activity level. On Thursday, November 5 at 5 p.m., area residents are invited to learn about memory loss, early signs of Alzheimer’s and other diseases, current medical research about warding off memory loss and practical actions for keeping the brain in top shape at a special Dinner with the Doctor program called
Keeping Your Brain Sharp and Memory Loss at Bay.
The evening’s speaker will be Neurologist Joseph S. Handler, M.D. Dr. Handler will present practical and relevant information that you won’t want to miss.
On staff at Jennersville Regional Hospital, Dr. Handler is an experienced and board certified neurologist. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed an internal medicine internship at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, DE. Dr. Handler also completed a neurology residency program at Boston University Affiliated Hospitals in Boston, MA and an EEG/Epilepsy Fellowship at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC.
