Girls’ Night Out with a Purpose
Isn’t it time, girls, that you get away from your busy schedule to concentrate a little on your health? Of course it is and Jennersville Regional Hospital has the opportunity you won’t want to miss. It’s A Girls’ Night Out focusing on Breast Health set for Thursday, October 29 starting at 7 p.m. in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Held at Dansko Factory Outlet, the evening combines a few things most women love – shopping, refreshments, the company of friends topped with reliable health information from qualified experts. “We wanted to take a fun and light hearted approach to such an important topic,” says Ellen Musser, RN, OCN, Breast Care Coordinator, Jennersville Regional Hospital. “Learning about your health doesn’t have to be confined to a classroom, doctor’s office or even the Hospital. That’s why we’re encouraging ladies to gather up their friends, and neighbors and make a night of it. And, don’t forget your credit card,” jokes Musser.
The evening’s presentation will feature Radiologist Tracy Carmellini, M.D., Surgeon Andrew DeMichele, M.D., and Ellen Musser, RN, OCN. Speakers will address various issues related to breast health and offer helpful information about screening and diagnostic options, the anatomy of the breast and resources available to those facing any health concerns involving the breast.
The program is free but registration is required by calling the Jennersville Regional Hospital Marketing and Public Relations Office at 610-869-1223. Dansko Factory Outlet is located a short distance from Jennersville Regional Hospital at 8 Federal Ave in West Grove. |
