Dr. Leitman graduated from Boston University School of Medicine.   He completed an internship and residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center and a fellowship in Sport Medicine and Joint Replacement at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia.   Dr. Leitman is board certified in Orthopedics and has been in private practice since 1988.

Board certified, Dr. Smucker graduated from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed a surgical internship and orthopedic residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey.  He completed fellowship training in hip and knee replacement at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, following several years as a member of the Medical Staff of Nanticoke Memorial Hospital and Lifecare at Lofland Park, both located in Seaford, DE.  Dr. Smucker was named one of Delaware’s Top Docs by Delaware Today magazine in 2005. 

Dinner with the Doctor will be held in the Hospital Cafeteria. It is free and open to the community with pre-registration.  Space is limited.  Dinner is served starting at 5:30 p.m. with the lecture starting shortly after 6 p.m.
