Cancer is a disease in which the body’s abnormal cells multiply at a higher than normal rate and spread to one or more parts of the body, sometimes causing the development of masses and tumors. Jennersville Regional Hospital's cancer care facility combines cancer treatment technology with oncology specialists to deliver care and support to cancer patients and their families.
Our cancer program brings together the professional staff and programs of Jennersville Regional Hospital and the nationally recognized Thomas Jefferson University. As an affiliated network member, our cancer program offers our community members access to current, modern-day cancer treatment, the innovative research of the Jefferson Kimmel Cancer Center and clinical trials that were once only available at cancer centers far from home.
The team at Jennersville Regional Hospital consists of the hospital’s cancer program staff in cooperation with some of the area's finest medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, internal medicine physicians, radiologists, gynecologists, pathologists, general surgeons and family physicians.
Our cancer program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer. In 2006, Jennersville Regional Hospital was the only hospital in Pennsylvania to receive the Commission's Outstanding Achievement Award- the highest achievement a facility can receive.
