Do you have motivation, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn? Would you like to be trained in a new skill, meet new people or even prepare for a career in the medical field? Perhaps you’re looking for a way to give back to your community.

You now have the opportunity to volunteer in different areas of the hospital, including Patient Transport, Emergency Department, Food Services, Surgery Center, Administration, and Patient Visitation.

To participate in the program, volunteers are required to:
Complete and submit Volunteer Services application, provide a letter of recommendation, and schedule an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator

Agree to have a background check and a drug and tuberculosis test, administered at and paid by the Hospital, before starting service;

Attend a Hospital new employee/volunteer orientation, usually held on first Wednesday of the month from 8am – 3:30 pm;

Be able to give a minimum of one four-hour day of service per week;

Application and letter of recommendation can be mailed to the address noted on the application form, hand delivered to the Hospital or faxed to 610-869-1461.
